Virtual Speed Networking with N. VA Family Services Workforce Development Program

Volunteers for this Tysons Partnership event will help emerging job seekers practice effective networking skills and enhance their confidence.
Please join Tysons Partnership’s Community Responsibility Council for an afternoon of virtual speed networking with Northern Virginia Family Service’s Training Futures Program trainees. Volunteers will help participants learn new skills to successfully enter the workforce.
The virtual speed networking event objectives include:
- Help trainees build confidence in their networking/professional communication skills.
- Establish connections between trainees and professional members of the Tysons community.
Training Futures is a nationally recognized job training program that provides a critical pathway to fulfilling living-wage jobs for unemployed and underemployed individuals. Trainees develop in-demand digital, administrative, and soft skills for the modern workplace. Read more about the Training Futures program HERE.
12:45 – 1 p.m. – Introductions and activity overview
1:00 – 1:15 p.m. – 1st round of breakout rooms
1:15 – 1:30 p.m. – 2nd round of breakout rooms
1:30 – 1:45 p.m. – 3rd round of breakout room
1:45 – 2:00 p.m. – Wrap-up/debrief in main room
