Sara is an experienced land use and zoning lawyer. She has worked in all phases of the land use and development process, including rezoning, special permit, and special exception and variance applications. Sara has represented land owners, developers, businesses and community non-profits in land use and zoning matters in the counties of Fairfax and Arlington, as well as the City of Fairfax, Town of Vienna and Town of Herndon. Her projects have ranged from mixed-use, office, retail and multi-family residential developments to hotels, assisted living facilities, and service stations.

Sara gained invaluable experience in land use and zoning while working for Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Member, Sharon Bulova.

A native of Fairfax County, Sara is active in the community. She is a 2008 graduate of Leadership Fairfax’s Emerging Leaders Program and remains active in the organization.  Sara previously served as a board member for Langley Residential Support Services and now serves as a board member for the Arlington YMCA and Good Shepherd Housing. She is also a member of the Urban Land Institute Women’s Leadership Initiative’s Steering Committee.
