Doug is the lead Partner for two of KPMG’s Premier accounts and he is a member of the KPMG’s Securitization Practice, a division within the firm’s Risk Analytics Advisory Practice, and is a member of the Risk Analytics leadership team.
With more than 25 years of industry experience, Doug’s core focus is providing financial, operational and regulatory assistance to large and middle market mortgage and consumer lending originators, servicers, securitizers and the Government Sponsored Entities (GSEs). More specifically, he focuses on all phases of MBS transaction services, including the initial structuring, the pricing and valuation of REITS, REMICs and other asset-backed securities, as well as the calculation of initial yields and cash flow projections. Doug also focuses on business process redesign, operational risk and control assessments, risk governance, monitoring, reporting and remediation.
Doug also has an extensive background in the design, development, testing and implementation of systems utilized to track and account for loans, debt instruments and securitization transactions. His experience includes the development of web-based systems and processes to account for numerous forms of effective yield accounting including and the taxation and bond administration of asset-backed securities for both issuers and investors.
Doug joined the KPMG Audit Practice in 1989 and transferred to the Securitization Practice in 1991. He was admitted to the Partnership in 1998.
