Anthony Anikeeff is co-chair of Williams Mullen’s government contracts group and a member of its economic development group. He represents domestic and foreign companies in the defense, homeland security, healthcare, and civilian sectors in conducting business with the federal and state governments, and in establishing operations in Northern Virginia. He counsels contractors, subcontractors, and third-party stakeholders about the many issues that arise in the context of these efforts. As a trial lawyer, he has represented clients in negotiations, bid protests, claims, commercial disputes, False Claims Act and qui tam matters, suspension and debarment matters, government and internal investigations, and associated disclosures. The firm’s economic development group has advised numerous companies in establishing operations in Virginia.
Mr. Anikeeff is a former Justice Department attorney and general counsel of a national trade association. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Corps Network and the DC Metropolitan Chapter of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Council. He is a lifelong resident of the McLean/Tysons area.
